The company
Since 1987 BRANOpac GmbH is s a young and dynamic company that is established on the paper processing market.
Increased demand for special solutions and paper with specific characteristics led to an expansion into the new business units BRANOguard (corrosion protection products), BRANOtech (technical papers) and BRANOfood (papers for food applications).

Certification
BRANOpac GmbH has been certified according to the DIN EN ISO 9002 standard by the DQS since January 03, 1996. During the development of our management systems, we were able to gain environmental certification according to the EMAS EG Vo 1836/93 standard in 1998.
By integrating our development department into our management systems, we were able to gain certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:1996 three years later in 2001.
Upon expiration of our EMAS certification, the decision was taken to achieve certification according to the DIN EN ISO 14001 standard because of the increasing international nature of our business activities. We were certified according to this standard in 2001.
With the introduction of this new standard we drove forward our efforts for 9001:2000 certification and have held this certificate since March 2002 in the form of a dual quality and environmental management systems certificate.
